Pesto
Quick and easy.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup toasted slivered almonds
- 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves, washed and dried
- 1/2 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, grated
- 3 cloves of garlic, peeled
- 1/4 cup Basil Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Almond Oil (or more Basil Olive Oil)
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts or almonds (optional)
- 2 tsp kosher salt, or to taste
Directions:
In a food processor or blender, combine all ingredients. Pulse to ensure all ingredients are blending smoothly. Stop machine if needed to scrape down sides. Use on 1 lb of favorite pasta.
