with Cilantro & Roasted Onion Olive Oil
Use paper towels to thoroughly dry salmon fillet. Place salmon in large glass baking dish and set aside. In a bowl, use hand whisk to mix together balsamic, soy sauce, honey, oils, garlic, ginger, black pepper, green onions, lemon juice, chopped onions, and jalapeno. Pour mixture evenly over salmon, ensuring it's coated with marinade. Cover and chill at least 6 hours or overnight.
Remove salmon from fridge let sit at room temperature while oven preheats to 350°F. Transfer salmon skin-side down to large foil covered baking sheet. Evenly distribute marinade over salmon. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 10 minutes on middle rack.
Remove from oven, move rack to upper position, remove top sheet of foil and place salmon back on rack. Broil on high for about 5 minutes, watching carefully so salmon doesn’t burn. It should reach a nicely light golden color on top. Remove salmon from heat and serve.
