Quinoa Patties

On Tap Oil & Vinegar Quinoa Patties with Extra Virgin or Garlic Olive Oil

Mix all ingredients up to olive oil in a large bowl. Allow to sit 3-5 minutes. If necessary, add a little water or more bread crumbs to adjust consistency. Form mixture into small patties about 3" in diameter and 1/2 - 3/4" thick. They will hold together, but may crumble a little - cooking will firm up patties.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium to low heat. Place 5-6 patties into skillet, leaving room in between. Cook 5-10 minutes until deep golden brown in colour. Flip and cook additional 5-7 minutes until second side is done and patties are cooked through. Remove to wire rack and cook second batch, if necessary. Makes a great BBQ side served hot with grilled veggies.
